Adult and Youth Fitness!!
Cardio Rhythm: a fun, high-energy cardio toning class that provides a great workout through movement to music. No dance background required, just a love of moving to music and a willingness to get fit!!
MetCo: this intense drill workout will kick your metabolism into overtime and take you to the next level of fitness. This program is a specially designed training system that incorporates high intensity cardio with strength and endurance and ends with core conditioning. Be ready to be pushed in this class! Please bring water and heavy weights and a mat!
Freaky Friday: Anything goes on Friday!! Cardio, core and strength shake up your Fridays to provide you with a great week-ending workout. You'll never know in advance what the workout will be!!
Moksha Yoga: Moksha yoga is a hatha based yoga practice and well suited for beginners. Moksha translates as “freedom” while hatha is the practice of bringing harmony and balance to the main energies of the human body. Yoga in general, is about bringing awareness to the body and breath. In uniting the two, we learn to calm the activity of the mind, allowing us to be more present in the moment. This practice translates positively into each and every corner of our lives.
Moksha yoga is a grounding and therapeutic practice which can be modified for all levels. You do not need to be flexible or physically strong although those attributes will certainly improve with regular practice. Take this time for yourself and you will undoubtably notice the benefits both on and off the mat not to mention have a great night’s sleep after class. During the 90 minutes you can expect to begin with rest & relaxation, followed by a standing series, then a short rest as we transition to a floor series, rounded out by a delightful finale back where we began. You will leave feeling relaxed, refreshed, calm and centered, but don’t take my word for it... see for yourself!
Zumba: Are you ready to party yourself into shape? That’s exactly what the Zumba® program is all about. It’s an exhilarating, effective, easy-to-follow, Latin-inspired, calorie-burning dance fitness-party™ that’s moving millions of people toward joy and health.
*New* Core 'N More: This class is an all-out belly blast to get those Abs ready for summer! You will also tone those hips, thighs and buns through these challenging and effective exercises. What a great way to get those bodies bikini-ready!
*New* Wacky Bootcamp: Anything goes in this class! It will change from week to week but challenge you every time! Strength, Cardio, Core and toning will be the components used to give you are great week-ending workout!
***For Morning Classes (9:15 - 10:15) only: "Babysitting" is available***
Drop-ins available for all Adult Fitness classes if the class is not full. Drop-in price for all classes is $12 with the exception of Yoga. Yoga is $15 (due to length of class). Please bring cash, and arrive a few minutes before the class to pay for drop-in.
