Girls

• pink chiffon pull on circle skirt- The skirt should be finger tip length.

• Bloch or Capezio black buckle strap or Velcro tap shoes (Mary Jane recommended) or black Capezio patent tap shoes with elastic (no ribbons please)

• a bag to keep dance shoes in which will be carried into the classroom

Creative Ballet & Pre-Primary Ballet & Recreational 1

Girls

• pink bodysuit (please no attached skirts)

• pink tights

• pink leather ballet slippers - please attach elastics and tie string into a small bow and cut off excess string

• pink chiffon pull on circle skirt (proper length is important) The skirt must be finger tip length. With one hand on each side using straight arms, hold the skirt near the bottom pulling it out to form an inverted V shape. **Please pay attention to the length.  If the skirt is too short your child will not learn how to use it properly

Ballet - Recreational 2

Girls

• navy or black sleeveless bodysuit

• pink tights

• soft pink leather ballet slippers- please attach elastics and tie string into a small bow and cut off excess string

• optional chiffon skirt, no dance shorts

• please remember to wear deodorant

Jazz/Tap - Pre Primary & Recreational 1

Girls

• pink bodysuit

• pink tights

• Bloch or Capezio black jazz shoes (slip on style strongly recommended)

• Bloch or Capezio black buckle strap or velcro tap shoes (Mary Jane style recommended).

**Please no patent tap shoes. At this level the patent shoe does not allow the foot to bend properly

• Pre-primary need a bag to keep dance shoes in, which will be carried into the classroom, Rec 1 dancers are asked to keep their dance bag in the change room, where they can go in-between classes to switch shoes

Jazz & Tap - Recreational 2

Girls

• navy or black sleeveless bodysuit 

• light tan or pink tights (wear pink tights if enrolled in Ballet)

• Optional black tight fitting and short lycra/spandex dance shorts over body suit and tights

• Bloch or Capezio black jazz shoe, slip-on style preferred (No jazz runners!)

• Bloch or Capezio black mary jane style or slip-on style

**Please no patent tap shoes.  Your child will not learn how to properly dance in them.

Hippity Hop & Hip Hop

• Girls wear a fitted t-shirt or tank tops allowed, over any color bodysuit

• Boys wear a comfortable t-shirt they can move in (not too large)

• any color of jazz or capri pants or sweat pants, NO JEANS ALLOWED

• Clean indoor white running shoes.

• No street shoes!

• hair must be worn pulled back in a ponytail 

Musical Theatre

• any color bodysuit

• any color of dance pants or shorts (if wearing shorts please wear tights)

• Bloch or Capezio black jazz shoes (slip-on preferred)

• hair must be worn pulled back in a ponytail 

Boys Dance Attire

• Ballet - plain white tee shirt, dark shorts, white socks, black leather ballet shoes with elastics attached

• Jazz - plain white tee shirt, dark shorts, black socks, Bloch or Capezio black jazz shoe (No jazz runners!)

• Tap - plain white tee shirt, dark shorts, black socks, Bloch or Capezio black tap shoes

Competitive Dress Code

Please Note: Competitive Level 2-5 dancers are required to have a Thera-Band for their stretch/tech class and are to carry it in their dance bag at all times. Thera-Bands are available at the office for $5.00.
